The International Association of Business Communicators British Columbia (IABC/BC) recently awarded two 2009 Bronze Quill Awards of Excellence to Chris Freek for his work with the Vancouver Coastal Health Communications team. Joining Chris from the VCH team were Denise Leech, Maile Conwi, and Bonnie Hamilton.

The IABC Bronze Quill Awards are British Columbia's pre-eminent awards competition for business communication. The awards were earned in the categories of excellence in electronic communications strategy and excellence in electronic communications skills.

Winners went through several rounds of judging by a team of senior communicators from IABC/BC, one of the most accomplished chapters of the IABC. The winners will be honoured at the Bronze Quill Awards Gala on June 3rd at The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver in Vancouver, British Columbia at a ceremony hosted by Global BC's Sophie Lui.
